Community Guidelines

01 The basics

Gaga is a place for adults to meet and talk in real time. To keep it that way, everyone agrees to:

• be 18 or older and use Gaga only for yourself;
• be respectful — no abuse, hate or harassment;
• get consent and respect it when someone says no or leaves;
• keep it legal and keep it safe; and
• report behaviour that breaks these guidelines.

These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service. Where something isn't listed here, use common sense and good faith.

02 Minors & child safety — zero tolerance

• Do not use Gaga if you are under 18, and do not let a minor access it through your device.
• Never request, share, or produce sexual content involving anyone who is or appears to be a minor.
• If you encounter a user you believe is a minor, end the session, report it, and contact [email protected].

03 Nudity & sexual content

Gaga is for adults, but it is not a place for explicit sexual content in live matching. To protect everyone from unwanted exposure, the following are not allowed:

• nudity, sexual acts, masturbation, or exposure of genitalia or other intimate body parts on camera;
• cyberflashing — sending or showing unsolicited sexual images or exposing yourself to someone who didn't ask for it;
• sexual content directed at someone without their consent, or any sexual content involving non-consent;
• using the camera to pressure, coerce or solicit sexual acts;
• commercial sexual services, solicitation, or sexual content for payment;
• using a fake, looped or pre-recorded video feed to deceive or to display prohibited content.

Flirting and consensual adult conversation are fine — exposing yourself to a stranger who didn't ask for it is not. If someone exposes themselves to you, leave and report it.

04 Harassment, bullying & hate

• No harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats or stalking.
• No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
• No sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, or degrading or dehumanising behaviour.
• Respect "no". If someone disengages, blocks, or leaves, do not attempt to re-contact or retaliate.

05 Violence & dangerous behaviour

• No threats of violence, incitement, or glorification of violence or terrorism.
• No display of weapons in a threatening way, and no depiction of graphic violence or gore.
• No content that promotes, organises or instructs dangerous or harmful acts.

06 Illegal activity & regulated goods

• Do not use Gaga to commit, facilitate or promote any crime.
• No sale or promotion of drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or other regulated or illegal items.
• No human exploitation or trafficking of any kind.

07 Privacy & consent

• Do not share anyone's private information ("doxxing"), including names, addresses, contact details or accounts.
• Do not pressure others to share personal, financial or identifying information.
• Respect boundaries — consent can be withdrawn at any time.

08 Recording, screenshots & non-consensual sharing

What happens in a session stays between the two of you unless both agree otherwise.

• Do not record, screenshot or capture another person during a session without their clear consent.
• Never share, post or threaten to share someone's image, video or words from Gaga elsewhere. Non-consensual intimate imagery and sextortion are serious violations and may be crimes.
• We cannot fully prevent another user from capturing your video using outside tools — so protect yourself, and report anyone who threatens to share or distribute content of you.

09 Be real: authenticity & one account

• Be yourself. No impersonating other people, brands, or Gaga staff.
• No fake, automated or "for fun" fake accounts, and no bots.
• One person, one account. Do not create a new account to evade a ban.

10 Spam, scams & solicitation

• No spam, advertising, promotion, or driving people to other platforms.
• No scams, fraud, phishing, or requests for money, gifts or financial help.
• No "romance" or investment scams, and no manipulating others for financial gain.

11 Self-harm & people in crisis

We care about wellbeing. Do not encourage, promote or provide instructions for self-harm, suicide or eating disorders. If you or someone you meet is in crisis, please reach out to local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away — Gaga's tools are not a substitute for professional help. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

12 How we enforce these guidelines

We use a combination of automated detection and human review — including periodic moderation screenshots — to enforce these guidelines. Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may:

• show a warning, blur content, or interrupt a session;
• limit, restrict or temporarily suspend access to features or the Service;
• permanently ban an account and the associated user; and
• preserve evidence and notify NCMEC or law-enforcement where appropriate.

These guidelines also apply to conduct off the Service that involves people you met through Gaga — for example, continuing harassment or sharing someone's content on another platform. Serious violations, especially anything involving minors, result in immediate, permanent removal without prior warning. Where the law requires, we will give affected users in the EU a statement of reasons explaining a moderation decision.

13 Reporting & appeals

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, use the in-session controls: pick a reason, then leave or block the user. You can escalate serious matters to [email protected]. Reports are treated confidentially and help us keep Gaga safe.

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you can appeal by contacting [email protected] within a reasonable time. We will review the decision, with a human where significant rights are affected, and respond.
